One of my favorite things to do in Summer is explore around town and find unique places to have picnics and hangouts with friends. I had heard about a really cool and kind of creepy old stage located inside one of the city's largest parks. When we arrived, I just knew I had to snap some pictures! Do you also like exploring hidden gems in your town?

One of my favorite excuses to wear a giant floppy hat each year is the Kentucky Derby. Something about the whole event is just so fun and festive. I usually just watch the race on TV with my family, and enjoy a mint julep or two. This year will be no different! Will you be watching it tomorrow?

Living in California, it's always a gamble when you leave the house in clothes that are meant for 40 degree weather. This still applies even if it's poring down rain when on your commute! Yesterday morning, I listened to the sound of the rain outside my window and thought it would be a great idea to wear a large coat and rain boots. This almost worked out, until the sun broke through around lunch time. By the time I left for the day, it was so hot and sunny I thought I was going to melt!
